New tank pH

i have a new 75 gallon tank, I added 90lbs of LR to start the curring process. My pH level was approx. 7.8. My test kit instructions say pH levels will be low for a new tank, but my questions are how long will it be low and will i need to add any kind of buffer or will it rise on its own.

Once the rock is cured and you do a couple o water changes you should see it stabalize.
