It looks normal to me thay sometimes puls ther hand like tops when thay feed witch is a good sighn

Well know it seems like it is shrinking! Sometimes think it shrinks and then get normal size again. Any thoughts?

Yep you got the cooties lol, those pics almost looks like the side of my tank, I been dealing with it for like 3 weeks now :-/
It's a hard battle! Nothing like dealing with algae, this has to be one if not tee worst.

I know algae is the best isn't it!?! My favorite thing about fish keeping! LOL.
How are you trying to fix your problem? Maybe I can get some ideas on how to fix mine.

I can't do it the natural way cause I have a RBTA,and other corals that need the light so I have been using the red slime remover...... It's working "SLOWLY" lol. But it's doing it's job.
I had setup a 20g long about 3 weeks ago so that if I had too, I could remove my corals and anemone and do it natural ...... By turning off the lights for 3-4 days and syphoning out the left over bacteria :-/
I might still do that too just to make sure it's all gone ..... Oh and I'm changing all the tubbing just to make sure I can get out as much of the spores as I can.

For some reason the number one source for cycano is phosphates but mine keeps reading 0 :-/

Cyano also sucks out the oxygen out the water :-(
I think you should try syphoning out the cyano and then do a water change... Just to keep your water perimeters in check.

If I try to directly siphon the cyano out won't I siphon my sand too?

Yes, but the sand is pretty easy to replace. You can also use a small diameter hose (e.g. airline) to pull out the cyano. Since it tends to be thick, it will generally get pulled up before the sand so you might not have that much sand loss. have you checked your nitrates lately? Phosphate and nitrates both seem to fertilize the stuff.

Do you have good water flow over and around the xenia?
