New xenia farm. Sand depth?

40h breeder. HOB Bak Pak skimmer. 40 lbs rock. Primary purpose is the xenia farm.

I'm gonna have a couple of small fish. I'm thinking a 3" sand bed.

Whatcha'll think? More? Less?

honestly i like dsb's, so i personally would say go more. I don't know a whole lot about xenia's except they can be hard to keep, and will grow toward the light, so if ur trying to start a farm, i would say use very strong lighting and start towards the bottom of the tank so they grow up towards the light.

Also that quote in your avatar, what movie is that from? I know i've heard it before.

More sand - like 4"? Why do you like deep sand?
