Should do fine, especially since you can adjust the height of the light.
Do you know how old the bulb is though? MH bulbs only last about 18 months give or take, depending on where you read it.

The guy i bought it from said it was about 6 or 7 months old
And thanx =)
I went from freshwater to saltwater a few months ago and im addicted >_<
When i add the corals i place them on the sandbed for a few days and slowly raise them up a few inches at a time correct?

Yeah, sorry app on my phone took a dump! Sounds good. And if necessary you could always add another pc of LR. to raise it up a bit.

Ok well ill give sps a shot
So even Sps hard corals need to be light acclimated?
And thanx alot on the compliment

SPS need to be light acclimated, probably more than any other, as to avoid bleaching.
