Hey guys and gals
I'm going to be adding a cleaning crew to my tank sometime soon and was wondering if snails and such needed to be qurantined. I figured they probably would but thought I would ask. Thanks in advance.

I don't quarantine them. I just do a drip acclimation to my main tank. (And shake off all the excess water I can off them before putting them in the main tank!)

I would not have them in the QT either. If you ever have to treat in that tank they will die.

Well, this one is up to you. many people quarantine just fish, some people go the extra step and quarantine "EVERYTHING" corals and inverts included

Yes that is true. I know several that do everything. I`m just not one that does. I QT fish only.

They can be carriers, but not necessarily passing disease along directly unless eaten or other physical contact.
