niger trigger

do any of u think that a niger trigger could survive in a 10 gallon tank by around september(the time that i get my new tank and it has cycled). i saw a 4", maybe 5" niger trigger at petco in a seperate 10 gal tank and it looked like it was doing fine
 
I wouldn't advise that. Petco houses everything in small tanks with the intent on selling them, so they are considered short term. The Niger Trigger gets up to a foot long, so it would require at least a 70G minimum IMO.

Triggers are messy eaters as well, IMO you have have serious problems with your water quality in a tank that small.
