What other ways are there to keep my nitrate lvls low aisde form my bi weekly water changes. my lvls are around 10ppm and want it around 5ppm

1 word...................macroalgae. You can setup a refugium and the macroalgae will absorb the nitrates and release oxygen.

Overstocking and overfeeding are two common causes of high nitrates. You may be pushing the biological filtering capabilities of the tank right now. Adding another 15-20lbs of LR would certainly help. Cut back on feedings. Feed one light feeding every other day. What is your substrate, LR or CC?
