Nitrate Spike

I woke up this morning to find my new colt all shriveled and shrunken.

i did a water change 3 days ago and got the colt 2 days ago.
after the water change all the perimeters were great! now i just checked and my nitrate has majorly spiked. how could that be??


is that why my colt has shriveled up?

This may or may not be related to the fish loss but from the look of the pics in your other post, it looks like the coral might just be settling in.

Please post (in detail with numbers) your water parameters including chem. I would also post some info about your set up including age, lighting etc...
