At 5 weeks , two weeks with fish. Nitrites good 0. ph 8.2. Amonia 0 . Nitates 5 ppm.
Did water change last night after testing, bought two corals today checked again and nitrates at 20 pm what happened and when to worry? Overnight?

Nitrate not really a problem at 20 ppm But 20 ppm is were you may want to keep check on it. Some people say at that point they take action and do a Pwc.

Yes just put in today and fed my clowns, haven't fed coral yet and not going to today until I see what morning brings on testing....

Test in the morning post you readings. I'll see them first thing.
With 20 ppm is not a bad reading you'll be ok.

What coral did you buy? Most coral do not require target feeding.

Were you using tap water for your water change? If that was the case, then that's probably where your nitrates came from.

Also I thought target feeding would be better as far as keeping nitrates down rather than dumping planton in water stream
