Not sure if this belongs here or if it should go to the equipment section, but at least I plan to use it for my reef tank. I have been using the API liquid test kits for the last 2 1/2 years. I think it's close enough to accurate and if I just can't tell what colors they are, then I choose the "in between". This is an awesome hobby and I felt like being a little adventurous. The big question here is, "what Nitrate test kit would you recommend?" Is there something significantly more accurate than the API liquid test kits? I have seen good reviews on the Red Sea liquid test kits. But I wanted to see if anyone had any good exp with others. Thanks

I have the Hanna meters and like them fine. They don't make a cheap nitrate test but they do have a nitrite one that works well.

Yes the Red Sea will be more accurate than api, so will salifert. You can't beat the convenience of hanna checkers.
