no more LFS for me.....

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I work at the local Pet Supplies Plus in PA, and we had a nasty bout of ich from a fish that came in with our delivery. So we ripped everything out, recured the live rock, got fresh sand, new UV sterilizers, phosban reactor, and a new skimmer. We decided it was better to actually tear the whole section down and restart, rather than get fish to sell that may contract ich.

We care about the livestock rather than the sale. If something is sick, it gets quarantined.

So not all LFS are bad. =)

It's really bogus the lack of care and knowledge that people at the LFS have. It is really irritating when you see a fish with full blown ich sitting in with a bunch of other tank mates.
