What's a hardy nocturnal species that stays around 3" or so? I'm planning my new 225 tank and I want to have:

1 Yellow Tang
1 Kole Tang
1 Naso Tang or Sailfin Tang
1 White-tail damsel
2-3 Engineer gobies

and perhaps a few smallish nocturnal fish.

We might add some coral and an anemone after I upgraded the lighting and such, so I want all reef-safe fish.

Any great recommendations?

Thanks

The flame cardinal is a small nocturnal fish but I don't believe it does well in large groups. I'm sure there are other nocturnal cardinals, that's just the one that came to mind. I believe most cardinals are nocturnal, pajama and kaudern's (bangaii) cardinals excluded.

Green chromis are very cool :D I only have 1 and it's very peaceful and beautiful. They also school together if u have more than 1, which is extremely cool (to me at least). Mine actually schools with my 2 clownfishes.
