for about 3 weeks now I have had a yellow and kole eyed tang. I am feeding seaweed clamp one day and formula 2 (half) another. However, they are still (especially the kole) alwas picking on the glass and sand (then spitting it out)... is this normal for them? I really don't think they are starving :)

I was told to rotate between brown red and green algae and after 2 weeks they should get to liking it better. I have only had my tang for a week and so far there is little to no eating any of it.

They are just being tangs. I`ve had those two tangs for many years and they pick and forage off the rock all day long. They are fine.

so good to know... cause I was thinking they were hungry and then feeding them more than usual.... which if I kept up - i'm sure wouldn't be too good for the parameters.

Thanks!!
