Ocean Sargassum

I just went offshore fishing today and brought back a clump of Sargassum that was floating by. It is in my qt for the moment. Is this good stuff to have in my tank? I have a fowlr. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't suggest it. Sargassum can quickly become a nuisance if placed in a nutrient rich environment. There are in fact few if any macro algaes I would place in a display tank. They are best used in a refugium application where they can be better controlled.
