Oceanic and CA Issues?

Anyone have incredibly high CA and incredibly low dKH in their oceanic reserviors? I keep my mix and tank at 1.026 and the CA in the reservior after sitting for about a week is over 600 and the dKH is only about 7.4. Anyone else seeing these kind of numbers? I am going to be dissapointed if this salt mix assumes people will be in the 1.024 range and if your out of that range you have to slave for ionic balance.

I don't keep mine in a reservoir but when freshly mixed at 35ppt my test kit readings are Ca is ~480 and the Alk is ~8.5 DKH. IME, I don't think there is a truly balanced salt on the market. I have heard that Tropic Marin is close though.

I agree. Something is always atleast alittle funky.
