Hey guys I just bought a new Gold lightning Maroon clownfish becuase I saw him mixed with some ocellaris at the store. I know they have a reputation of being the most aggresive clowns but when I put the bag into my tank my smaller ocellaris went straight after looking for a fight. Was he territorial or just really aggressive? I have them seperated for right now.

Unless it is a very large tank, mixing different clowns is not going to work out. They aren't friendly to each other and will beat on each other until they are dead. You might end up with one type left, you might end up loosing them all.

You need to return the fish to avoid the above stated. Make sure you research before buying fish, this is an easily avoidable issue.

Yes so I ended up returning the maroon but instead got a black ocallaris so after they did there pairing ritual they are swimming peacfully with each other
