I purchased my first saltwater fish today and I checked the water in the bag from the lfs and it read 1.015 SG and .25 ammonia! My tank salinity is at 1.024 and I don't want to harm them! How long should I drip acclimate them!? They were breathing heavily but now they have seemed to calm down. Please help I don't want my first saltwater fish to die! What should I do?

I had the same fish and same salinity and I did it for 2 hours and he is fine.

never raise salinity too fast . you should raise salinity in 2 ppm intervals , not only will it help curve stress it can help prevent gill burn from sudden changes . this can actually kill your fish .
since you have a starting salinity of 1.015 this is how you should break it down .

1.015
to
1.017

1.017
to
1.019

1.019
to
1.021

1.021
to
1.023
this should be done in 8hr intervals to avoid stress
