I have a tall cylinder tank with an artificial (synthetic) reef in the middle. Have some assorted fish and inverts. I wanted to add a small octopus to the tank. I have seen some articles that said the octopus (Abdophus spp.) wouldn't harm the fish and some other that said it would eventually eat all the other things in the tank. Has anyone had experience with these in their tank?

Yup ^ dont mess with them and fish lol. Eventually they might go after them!

And if you do this...PLEASE have a LOCKED lid with NO gaps!! Yes i am screaming this. Lol jk. But really, they will get out of anything hahaha

I wouldn't even reccomend an octopus they don't do well in aquariums and only have an.average lifespan of a year anyways. That's Jmo : /
