The past few days, the bigger of my two hermits has been walking around with his shell pressed against the glass and almost cralwing around upside down. Like a circus trick or something, he's taken to presing the shell against teh glas as he ambles sideways upsde down along the bottom. It almost seems like he's trying to dislodge the shell he's in. Has anyone sen a hermit (blue-legged) do this? I wonder if he's outgrown his shell and is now stuck in it?

Could be a couple reasons. Could be getting ready to molt or getting ready to change shells.

I wouldn't worry about his behavior. Just one of the weird things that sea critters do... ;) and I would seriously doubt he's stuck in the shell. These guys have very flexible abdomens.

Do you have bigger shells for him and his buddy to move into?

We need to do some elimination.
Tanks size and age?
Whats tested for and the readings?
Do you have any powerheads?
