Ok, so my test kit is saying my tank has 40-80 nitrates. I have been dosing vodka a week and the red slime is starting to go away. The strange thing is my "delicate" ritteri anemone looks normal, no signs of stress whatsoever. Same with my fish and corals. The test kit is like a year old, it's an API, do you think it expired or something?
