While I was posting my last question my dog was chewing on my aragonite sand bag!, it is leaking and have it inside a bucket, the thing is I don't have any salt water prepared yet (as I'm waiting to see what kind of filter I want to buy), what can I do? or is it lost? Thanks!!!

Do you have some salt to mix up? And a powerhead? If so, I would go ahead and make some saltwater and dump the sand and water into the bucket. Give it some time to settle and put in a ph. I think it should be ok as long as it's aerated.
