Open brain lighting

Would the marineland led reef capable lights be enough for a open brain?

Highly doubtful. Marineland leds aren't as reef cabaple as they claim. Since open brains are sandbed corals, marinelands won't have the light penetration to reach it.

Nope. I have these lights and looking to replace them now. You would have to place the brain a little more than half the way up the tank.

Got these light but not dimmable and they support all corals and open brain would only be good on the sand bed with them

Most of the ones on eBay come with mounts.

Of course you would have to attach to ceiling or canopy because they are chain type mounts.
