Open brain lighting

Would the marineland led reef capable lights be enough for a open brain?

Highly doubtful. Marineland leds aren't as reef cabaple as they claim. Since open brains are sandbed corals, marinelands won't have the light penetration to reach it.

When it comes to reef capable LEDs, check these out. Very popular on this site and support SPS.

Nope. I have these lights and looking to replace them now. You would have to place the brain a little more than half the way up the tank.

Got these light but not dimmable and they support all corals and open brain would only be good on the sand bed with them

Do you have to suspend them from the ceiling?
