My blue ORA also supposedly ate pellets but when I got her home she wanted no part of that or frozen food. It took several weeks for her to get on frozen completely. Luckily I had enough pods
in the tank in the meanwhile for her to eat. When I got her I had them try pellets, with no luck. He put in some mysis and out of the two I was looking at to buy the female went for some so I was on board.
If I had to do it again, I'm not 100% sure I'd do it. Theres a strong part of me that's glad I did but the gamble I took was kinda big. I also had the option of putting her in my 125g that is teeming with pods
, so she would have gone in there if she hadn't started eating regular food.
