No, blennies and wrasses are different species all together. Gobies and blennies are pretty similar though.

What kind of wrasse is this one? Is it a Melanurus?
Tank is looking awesome Oscar! Love the hawk fish under the monti cap looking bad. LOL


Yup, my melanurus wrasse, the one wrasse I've had success with so far. He evens eats from my hand!

What's funny about the hawkish is he's always looking like he's plotting an attack lol truth be told, he's probably the calmest and least aggressive fish in my aquarium!

Thanks! I did omit some corals that haven't been doing too great, including my bleached birds of paradise colony which isn't recovering too well from the nitrate spike. I'm crossing my fingers I don't lose it as it was one of my favorite corals.
