Lay it on me straight.
Potential problems of overcrowding?
I do water changes bi weekly. Everyone gets along, no one seems stressed ( except maybe the melanarus wrasse who only appears once every few days)

55gallon reef

2 clowns
Cardinal fish
Bi color chromis
Six line wrasse
Melanarus wrasse
Yellow tang
Starry blenny
Diamond goby

I would say you are fine other than the yellow tang who will outgrow that tank.

I don't think you are really overstocked. But like was said previously, the yellow tang needs a bigger tank.

The issues with overcrowding include nutrient issues and disease that can get out of control in a crowded environment.

Yeah the tang is just a baby. I took her from a friend breaking down their tank. I know she is not a permanent guest, unless of course i upgrade before she outgrows it

i kind of just came into the tang, the blenny, the melanarus and I had never had more than 6 fish in there ever, so I was just wondering.

I know adding the fuge will help with water volume.
