Paint it Black?

What is the proper paint/procedure to painting an aquarium back black?

tape it up, paint it. Not much to it. Just make sure you use paper or plastic and tape it up well to make sure you don't get paint on the other pieces of glass where you don't want it. If you do, don't freat - razor blades can solve it.

Since it's exterior, any paint that will bond to glass will work.

I suggest using about 3-4 coats of paint
