I have A 29 gallon tank with a coral beauty and some other fish, but the coral beauty won’t last there forever, so in a year I will upgrade to probably a 75 gallon, so I’m wondering if I could fit a powder blue tang in it.

No. Things are already stocked heavily with that coral beauty. A tang will lead to heavy aggression, stress, and death.
Best to wait. Patience is everything in this hobby.

I’d also be wary on a powder brown/blue in a 75 as well. They are pretty sensitive in my experience and will be the first to show signs of stress. This size of tank is best suited for the bristle tooth tangs.

Ok yeah the lady at my lfs said to avoid acanthurus tangs altogether, so I will stick with bristle tooth tangs, but can you keep them with yellow tangs?

You can in a large 100+ gallon tank. In a smaller tank they will fight for sure

I have a powder and a yellow in a 150 and the still play tag from time to time.
