I am thinking of getting a pc retrofit kit for my 60g it is acrilic and shaped weird I found a retrofit kit that will fit total watts will be 260w the tank is only 17 deep the lights will cover the whole tank do u think this will be enough watts to keep corals and inverts in the future i am getting them now just for my live rock but i will probley get corals in the future also with this lighting will i need a chiller thanks Jester

I would think that 4+ watts / gal would be fine for a lot of corals.

As for the chiller, if you raise the light so that it is up off the water a bit, you might not have any heat issues. Some PC lights have fans on them too.

You should be able to keep all but the very demanding corals. Any of the soft corals should do OK...most LPS should be able to live under these lights as well.

Dont invest in a chiller just yet. There are several ways to cool a tank a few degrees with out such an expensive bit of equipment.
