The true PPE (purple people eater), are what's called a palythoas or paly with a neon green slit mouth. What makes the "people eaters" whether red, green, brown, purple, etc. is the green slit mouth. Not a green center, but an actual green mouth. They also exibit and can be identified by white striations on the outside of the polyp when closed up.
