I feed mine flake food and they skim the top and eat. But there also scavengers so they may sometimes find a bite or two.

You don't. They eat algae/parasites off other fish I THINK. I don't have one but will get one very soon

It will eat what is on the live rock..algae..but you can feed them brine shrimp using a turkey baster or something smilier.

Fed mine aiptasia to begin with, now it's all gone it just eats whatever falls to the bottom...

My peppermints eat anything and everything I feed my tank. lol pellets, flake, carnivore foods everything. Its quite amusing to watch them scurry out grab a piece of food and then scurry away with it. I wish I had more of them lol
