Peppermint shrimp

Do you guys think that 2 medium sized peppermint shrimp could eat a quarter sized mushroom in one night? And if not, where the heck did my mushroom go?!?

Sometimes if they are disturbed they won't pop back up like a real mushroom

Mushrooms can detach from rock on their own. Either way peppermints arent coral eaters.

Usually they are just mistaken for picking between polyps. If you physically see them plucking off shrooms and eating them then yes they are but other than that no.

Usually when things come up missing you start pointing fingers at anything. Mushrooms can simply come detached, doesnt mean anything ate it. And if something did eat it you dont know what.

Chances are your mushroom detached and the current put it somewhere you can't see it. I have mushrooms detach and literally months later I will see it float by somewhere.

Yea I think it might have detached and I hope it pops up cause I've had it sense it was tiny
