every time i go to my lfs
to have my water tested, the sales rep always tell me that the pH is a tad low and i should use some buffering solution to keep it high like AquaVitro. my reading and her reading are about the same: near 8.0-8.2. should i listen to her advice? so far, my corals are doing well and none of the inhabitants seem stressed.
I understand that consistency is the key to this hobby and i just want a confirmation that the pH is not a big issue here. I have about 30-40lb of liverock and i use Kent's reef salt mixed with my own RO
