Ph controller help

So I purchased a ph controller to help me stabalize my ph then soon after I realized I know nothing about it. So do I have to have a Kali reactor to run it

You can use it alone to monitor your pH, but they are made to turn the co2 solenoid on and off on a calcium reactor.

Well I bet I way over paid for it then. Lol. 126. Reef frantic ph controller. That will be there just to monitor. Ouch. I also got a reefkeeper 2 it has a ph monitor on it so if anyone needs the ph controler. I'll be selling it for. Would like to break even but am willing to take a loss being I prob won't need it.
