what is the acceptable phosphate level?
my tank is 1ppm. it keeps growing algea like crazy.

The lower the better, especially if you have any corals. Undetectable is ideal.

Some people are like slinkies...they serve no real purpose yet can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs!:p

1ppm is going to grow algae like crazy. find the source whether it be from overfeeding or whatever and correct the problem, 0 is best
