hey,
quick question, i cleaned out my refugium today cause the walls were lined with white pinapple sponges. they origionally showed up on my chaeto, now they infest my refugium. i cleaned out the refug the best i could but now i see the pinapples floating in my DT.

Is this going to be an issue ??????
does this mean soon they will be taking over my DT and cover my live rock?
i didn't have one pinapple in my DT, they were all living in my refugium.

am i going to be kicking myself for trying to clean my refug, i have a feeling i just opened pandora's box!

here was the start, when they showed up in my chaeto

They are harmless. I have them in my DT. They mostly grow on the underside of rocks, in the shadows. They aren't terribly prolific and are beneficial to the system.

great news, thanks guys !!!!
in my refug, they are stuck on everything, walls, bubble trap, intake pump, etc.. I'll just leave them be then. Maybe that's why my chems are 0 across the board.
