Pinkspotted shrimp goby

I'm pretty sure I'll be putting one in my tank. In my research I've read that they pair up with a type of shrimp, but I don't know what kind. Any ideas?

I'm guessing you mean a pistol shrimp. Not all species of which will pair with a goby. The most common types include the tiger, bullseye, and randalls pistol shrimps. I have personally had good success with the tiger and Randalls pistol shrimps.
