I've got this pistol shrimp in my tank. (Came off my LR about 4 monthes ago, I just found him two weeks ago) He hides under a rock and NEVER comes out, but will grab food from my hand and bring it back. Will this little guy ever come out? Currently in my 75g I have a Tang, Foxface, and a serpeant starfish.

I have several from my LR. I hear them, but never see them. :(
They like to burrow in the sand under the rocks.

I don't think they will hang out completely in the open by themselves without a shrimp goby. Pistol shrimps have very poor eye sight, that's why they like to hang out with shrimp gobies. Shrimp gobies are it's eyes and it warns the shrimp of danger and they both make mad dash for their borrows.
