The foscam is harder. The drop cam is easier

No not at all you need a wifi router . And your internet connection on both ends must be fast

I can image a lot of lag but I can handle it not a ton of movement in my tank but sounds like the second is better but first is also good what app do I download to see it

So far I'm loving the camera the hd one found the app and definatley thinking about monitoring my. 50 with it till I can get something larger

I have remote cameras all over my system. I use foscam hd cameras.
