Please help identify growths on coral.

Hi I have noticed growths on my zoa.
Never seen like it before can anyone help?

Also in the last picture small growth from under coral.

I don't like the looks of it. May be a infection. I would get the advice from some of the experts that post here. But at a minimum my guess is there will be a dip of some kind needed.
 
Could be Beggiatoa sp. infection, a pic underwater would make me certain because I don't know how it looks exactly above water. Almost invariably results in death.
 
Yeah a friend of mine a fellow reefer come round to take a look. Said it was an infection aswell.
Currently in his quarantine under iodine solution but the stuff on it spred fast I've resigned myself to that coral being dead :(
 
If it is Beggiatoa best bet is to keep it in QT till it dies or, best case scenario, shows no symptoms whatsoever.
 
Mmm checked on it the white fungus has covered half the coral now.
Currently being treated with iodine and has had a freshwater dip.
