I got Pods! Tons 'o tiny white ones all over the glass, and many tiny little shrimpy looking pods, clear translucent , and about 5mm long.

Tank is 3 weeks old, Ammonia has dropped to 0, Nitrites have dropped from 1+ to 0.05 ppm, Nitrates are at 2.5. I think it's nearly finished cycling.

But I've got pods :D

Sorry, I just had to tell someone...

Haha I can relate to this.. congrats!! :D

Can you ever have too many pods? and what will they eat, at the moment they seem to consume all the algae off the sides of the tank, but that is disapperaing at a rapid pace! my tank is only 4 weeks along, so it doesn't have any fish to create waste/waste food. Are the little guys okay to see to them selves - or should they be given some supplemental feeding? TIA
