pods for lunch?

hi...i have some live silversides and mullet in my refugium but i plan to put some pods in there...will the silversides eat the pods? i dont want to put the silversides and mullet in the main tank because im breeding them to feed my grouper and with them in the main tank they will surely be lunch. will the pods survive in the refuge with the silversides.....there is also a good amount of chaeto in the refuge so i think they will be able to hide but i dont know...thanks
