I would like to find some pods to put in my SH tank. I cant find them around here. Anybody have any links to buying them online? thanks

Aren't your ponies taking to the frozen mysis?

I just checked around online and seems like live pods are a ridiculously lucrative business.
There's one guy on ebay selling them, and he get $50 + $35 s&h for 50 bugs... that works out to $1.70 each!!!

(Dang! That means I've probably got several hundred $$$ worth in my little 10gal refugium alone.)

I also found a place that sells a breeding kit for amphipods with everything to get started for about $40 & s/h at http://www.ipsf.com/#anchor45957
Looks like they have discounts if you buy more than one kit, or combine them with other livestock purchases.

While it's not live pods, I also found two other seahorse food options on ebay.
One is live rotifers for $38 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Roti-Feast-Roti...hZ017QQcategoryZ46308QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

The other is a bottle of arctic copepods (dead) for about $30 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Arcti-Pods-Real...ryZ46308QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I took a quick glance back at your SH thread, but I didn't see anything there about a refugium...
If I were you I would go grab a cheap 10gal tank with hood for about $20, stick a handful of pod-filled cheato off ebay for $8 in it, and grow your own... heck, make it a fuge for you horsey tank.

My goodness! those of us who have tanks that have been set up for a year or more are sitting on a gold mine. Selling pods at that price I could supplement my addiction to this hobby!!!! LOL That is unbelievable.

Yeah, really!

To heck with trying to make chickenscratch off of my coral frags... I'm just gonna setup some rubbermaid tubs in the garage and grow pods.

Hey,... anyone wanna send me their fish poop??? LOL. :biglol:

They must be like gold, rare; Because My tank has been up with LR and LS for about 14 months, and I have yet to find any pods in my tank.

My little 10gal fuge has only been setup for about 3 months, and you can get an idea of the pod population so far from this pic I just took.
(Could THIS be what my retirement investment looks like?!?) 8)

When the lights are off at night, take a flashlight and look at the lr. You should be able to see some. I see dozens of big ones in my 20 gallon at night and it's been setup for 8 months.

Loyalrogue, I'd like to see a full shot of that fuge if you have it! If I can manage it I wouldn't mind my retirement looking exactly like that ;)

Yeah, that's what everyone keeps telling me. But every night when I get home from work, I grab my Maglight, and look all over the tank, and Find nothing! (Except a really pissed off Naso Tang, after waking her up)
