It seems i have some very small critters on the glass of my tank.
I didnt notice them until I put 2 green chromis in the tank.

The critters look like specs on the glass but if you watch close they move around and some are bigger than others.

Are these Pods?

Reall are to small to even show up ... look like specs of dirt on the glass ( I mean tiny, real tiny)

Focused on 1 and watched it move all over until the chromis came by and ate it
so small you cant even make out if they have legs or a tail... just little spec on the glass that move and get eaten hehehe

These are likely copepods species, amphipods are larger and spend more time on the substrate/rock and look like tiny shrimp.

Definitely sounds like copepods. Take a look at the copepod page and click on the Tigger Pods link on the left. Do they look like the specks in the bottle? That page also shows you closeups. A magnifying glass may help you to see some detail.

Thanks for the input guys after doing some research on the Copepods i think I have Harpacticoid copepods since they are most common and cling to glass and LR

Is it unusual to have these in a month+ old tank
Were they LR hitchhikers?
