Pom Pom crabs and the like

With crabs like the Pom Pom crab (boxing crab) and the Teddy Bear Crab that have little anemones they hold in there claws to ward off predators, what do they do when the anemone dies or they loose it in an aquarium? Will they pluck an aptasia and use that or some other kind of nuisance anemone? what do they do? I know it's probably okay if they loose one in a home aquarium, but I'm just curious as to what they do when it happens.

they dont need them to live if thier gone i dont know what they will do about it though
