Hey everyone my power just went out and I've never had this happen since I turned my tank into a reef! How long should I wait until I start getting worried about my corals and fish ?

You can do water changes. Also look into those battery operated air stones. When the power went out at my house I used 2 of them. I also have my heater and pumps hooked into a battery backup surge protector.

Good luck.

I was always told the most unnatural thing in a reef tank is no flow.

If its cold, wrap a blanket around the tank. Stir the water or something to agitate/aerate frequently to keep O2 levels up.

If you can, get some airline and place a small bag or bucket of water above the tank & siphon the water back into the tank, refill & repeat until the power comes back.
