Powerhead cover

how can i cover up my powerhead intake so that my anenome or fish don't get sucked in?

I've heard of people using plastic grids that that can be found in sewing stores and the craft section @ walmart. The stuff is meant to be like a rigid screen. Roll it up and use zip-ties to secure it. I have not tried it but it seems like it would work.

don't those still have small holes that the anenome can stick it's tentecles through?

Well, water need to still flow. Maxijets come with their own intake covers, they work well, just keep the covers clean.
