i have 2 rio 800's. are they considered moderate flow?

A rio 800 gives around 200gph in a 46g tank, I would use 3 or 4 of them (actually I'd use maxijets) and make sure the flow is turbulent, but does not spray directly on any corals close to the powerheads.

Rio 800 = 211gph
211x2 = 422
422/46 = 9.17 turnover per hour.

I would say this is moderate flow. High would be closer to 20.

I would say water flow can be from moderate to slow to high depending on where in the tank your talking about.
