Powerheads and DSB

Ok, I got the sump and mag 7. I am getting gulf LR from liverock.com, so I am going to skip the LS. So the question are......

What is the best non LS to get? From the LFS, something from Home Depot? A few rocks and a hammer and make my own?

Next, what are good quite Power heads? It is a 60 gal flat back hex tank. I was thinking of the sump pump going into a spray bar. So I want two PH one on each end going towards the middle front of the tank.

Have you consitered running the sump into a SQWD? This would divert the flow out two outlets every 10-20 seconds. Most of us prefer maxijet powerheads over any other brand.

Any argonite based sand that has a fine grain size will be fine. To test if its argonite or not you do the vineger test.
