Hey MsBeanCtr, congrats on the new flow! As far as best placement, may I ask you the size of your tank and the footprint? I may have missed it, but I didnt see this info.

Since I have the exact same tank as you I will share with you how I have mine placed in my tank. Right now one of my tunze nano streams is down (being replaced by tunze) so I put one of my koralias in for now. I have had them running on my tank for over a year now. I have them both on the side glass on opposite ends of the tank. The one on the right is about 2 inches below the surface and is pointing up and towards the center front of the glass. The one on the left side is about 6 inches below the surface and is pointing slightly up and towards the front center glass. I've had them in different positions in the tank through out the year but I found that this works best for my tank. HTH
